Wire Brushed Wood Column Wrap

Crafted to emulate actual reclaimed barnwood, Wire Brushed wood column wraps match its texture, color and character to an incredible degree. The wire-brushed finish, achieved with a special treatment process to soften the grain of the wood, gives these wood columns an elegant, handsome look. Up close and from a distance, these wooden columns are indistinguishable from solid wood. Thanks to this process, the columns are also much less prone to cracking, twisting, warping and checking.

An additional benefit is our inventory’s consistent range of lengths, sizes and colors, which is hard to come by with real salvaged wood. This is advantageous for creating designs that require uniformity throughout.

Barron Designs crafts our decorative wood column wraps by hand mitering and assembling 3 sides of the column.  The 4th side is not attached, making it easy to slip the U-shaped piece around a structural beam then attach the 4th side using adhesive and/or finish nails.  Optional base and crown moulding is available for a stunning finishing touch. Moulding is assembled and installed on site.

Everyone love the welcoming feel of wood porch columns. When used alone or paired with a stone or brick base, wooden front porch columns are a gorgeous way to elevate the look of your home.

• Interior or Exterior Use
• Wooden Columns ship with 3 sides fully assembled and a 4th side that is fitted, mitered and ready to be attached on site.
• For exterior installation we recommend adding a high quality clear coat exterior polyurethane with a UV inhibitor to protect the finish.
• Colors vary dramatically from monitor to monitor. For this reason we HIGHLY RECOMMEND reviewing a sample prior to ordering. The cost of up to five (5) samples is rebated with a full sized product purchase.
• Dimensions specified are outside dimensions of the product. Material is approximately 1 inch thick.
• Products are hand fabricated. Allow at least ½ inch tolerance when covering existing materials.
• Products have screws embedded in them. We recommend cutting with a hand saw to avoid injury. Barron Designs is not responsible for bodily harm or equipment damage if power tools are used.
• These columns are for decorative purposes and are not to be load bearing.
