At BarronDesigns.com, we take your privacy seriously. We do, of course, ask you for certain kinds of personal information in order to process your order. We keep absolutely private any personal information that you may share with us while placing your order or using our website. We do not sell or share your name or any other information about you with any third parties other than to process your order and have it shipped.

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the BarronDesigns.com website. On some pages, you can order products, make requests, and register to receive materials. The types of personal information collected at these pages include:

Children and Data Collection
BarronDesigns.com does not knowingly allow anyone under the age of 13 to provide us any personally identifiable information. Any child under the age of 13 who chooses to use our site is required to obtain express permission from a parent or guardian before submitting any personal information about themselves (such as name or email address). If a child has provided us with personally identifiable information without consent from their parent or guardian, the parent or guardian of that child should contact our Privacy Officer immediately at PrivacyOfficer@BarronDesigns.com so that we may promptly delete the child’s information from our servers.

Though our site is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, as per the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (“COPPA”) we are required to inform parents and legal guardians about how we collect, use and disclose personal information from children under 13 years of age; and that we obtain consent from parents and guardians in order for children under 13 years of age to use certain features of our website (e.g. subscribing to newsletters or registering an account).

We do not share children’s personally identifiable information with outside third parties not bound by this Privacy Policy. At any time, parents and guardians can refuse to permit us to collect any further personal information from their child and can request that any personal information we have collected be deleted from our records.

If you have any questions or concerns that need addressing, would like to have any personally identifiable information deleted from our systems, and/or would like to request that there be no further collection or use of your information, you may contact our Privacy Officer. How We Use Information
We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

You can register with our website if you would like to receive our newsletter as well as updates on our new products and services. Information you submit on our website will not be used for this purpose unless you fill out the newsletter sign-up form.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to understand customer trends. For example, we track how many visitors come to our website and to each page, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.

We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our website and to collect demographic information for internal purposes.

Personal, identifiable information will be kept as long as is needed in order to provide requested services and/or to complete your transactions. If at any time you would like to have your personally identifiable information reviewed and/or removed, you may contact our Privacy Officer.

BarronDesigns.com makes use of tracking cookies for Google Analytics and Remarketing purposes. Third party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to websites. Unsubscribing from Our Newsletter
By providing us with your email and subscribing to our newsletter, you entitle us to send you information, updates, offers and notifications. If at any time you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, you may unsubscribe from this service by clicking the Unsubscribe link or the SafeUnsubscribe link found in every Newsletter email we send.

We go to great lengths to keep your financial information private and safe. All credit transactions occur in a secure area of our site, to protect you from any loss, misuse or alteration of information collected. We have put in place the appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online and to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the correct use of information.

We use Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard in transferring information, to process your orders. The SSL encrypts, or translates, your order information into a highly indecipherable code, which is processed immediately.

Your California Privacy Rights
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 aka “Shine the Light Act” only applies to California Residents who have an established relationship with a business primarily for personal, family, or household purposes. And to businesses with such relationships with California resident(s) that disclose California residents’ personal information to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes (not theirs) during the immediately preceding calendar year.

BarronDesigns.com does not disclose personal information to third parties for third parties’ direct marketing purposes. In the event we do so with California residents fitting these criteria they may request a list of those third parties once per calendar year by emailing at PrivacyOfficer@BarronDesigns.com  

Social Media Pages and Links
Please note that we are not responsible for the collection, usage and disclosure policies and practices (including the data security practices) of other organizations, such as any app, social media platform, or wireless service provider, including any Personal Information you disclose to other organizations through or in connection with the Apps or our Facebook Page.
Amendments to this Privacy Policy
If we decide to change this policy, we will post those changes to this policy, provide notice on our homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so you have an opportunity to be aware of the information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We may also email users who have opted to receive communications from us notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices. You should check this website periodically for changes to this privacy policy. Any changes to this privacy policy shall be effective immediately upon posting. If any change to this privacy policy is unacceptable to you, you should terminate your use of the Content, and contact us regarding removal of your personal information.

2. How Your Personal Information is Collected
We collect most of this personal information when you access our website, explore product offerings, order products, register to use certain services or download certain software available via our website, or it is collected from you or the device you use to access our website or services.  We may also collect personal information directly from you in person, by telephone, text or email, as well as from publicly accessible sources; third party, e.g., sanctioned screening providers, credit reporting agencies, or consumer due diligence providers; from a third party with your consent (e.g., your bank); and from cookies on our website.

B.        Making a Request

  1. Access and Deletion Requests: To request access or deletion of your personal information, you may contact our Privacy Officer at: PrivacyOfficer@BarronDesigns.com or call our toll-free number at 1-800-651-4223 Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., ET. If you would like to submit a request by mail, please send the request to Barron Designs, LLC, 1135 Montgomery Avenue, Albemarle, NC 28001, USA, Attn: Privacy Officer. Please note that you may only make a CCPA-related disclosure or deletion request twice within a 12-month period.
  2. Verification: To protect the security of your information, for all access and deletion requests you will need to provide us with enough information to verify your identity. The information you provide must match the information we know about you. Additionally, if you request specific pieces of your information or the deletion of certain information, you may be required to provide a signed declaration under penalty of perjury and otherwise authenticate your identity. We are not obligated to process a request if we cannot verify that the person making the request is the person about whom we collected information or is someone authorized to act on such person’s behalf.  Any personal information we collect from you to verify your identity in connection with you request will be used solely for the purposes of verification.
  3. No Sale of Personal Information:  We do not sell your personal information for financial compensation.
  4. Requests by Authorized Agents: You are permitted to designate an authorized agent to make a CCPA request on your behalf. Your authorized agent can use the methods described above to submit the request and will be required to provide proof of authorization.
  5. Do Not Track: At this time, We do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
