Install your sliding hardware in a snap with one of our sturdy RealCraft Easy Mount Solid Wood Header Boards. They mount securely to the wall allowing you to screw directly into the studs, removing the need for wood blocking inside the wall or custom hole placement in tracks for difficult stud configurations. 

Each RealCraft Easy Mount Header Board is shipped ready to install, complete with all the necessary hardware and easy-to-follow instructions.

Please Note: If purchased alone, the header will not come prepped for the mounting of track hardware and it is not pre-drilled for the fasteners. However if purchased as part of a kit (with the door, hanging hardware & track), the header board will come prepped for the track hardware, making installation even easier.

Just like our barn doors, header boards are beautifully finished with a Clear Satin Eurofinish by Osmo, a premium hand-rubbed hardwax oil that conditions, seals, and finishes the wood.

Osmo combines the advantages of both penetrating and surface protecting finishes. This gives it an advantage over urethane or traditional oil finishes. With the conditioning benefits of penetrating oils and the protection of a durable wax surface, it provides a breathable, smooth exterior that gives you the best of both worlds.

Osmo is all-natural, derived from plant-based oils and waxes. Ideal for application in any room, this non-toxic finish has been tested and approved in Europe for children’s toys.

One of the greatest advantages of Osmo is that it is easily maintained, and is spot repairable without the need for sanding.
